Good Morning Glorious Backers
Quick update regarding the stretch goals.
I’m still working away at the ones I’m personally authoring (One Page Dungeons, Monsters are People Too, premade pcs, Castle of Howls the one-on-one adventure), with various bits due to be handing off to proof-readers soon and aiming to have these done by the end of the July.
Meanwhile, the adventures (Fire from Below, Ruinous Jungles, The Curse of the Emerald Swan) have passed my first round of editorial, and I’m now completing another finely detailed pass. None of them requires major rewrites, so I expect them to come back to me quickly for final proofing. In the meantime, I’ll quickly get on with commissioning art. My optimistic delivery date is early August, to coincide with the 2nd anniversary of the Kickstarter, but pessimistically it may be a steady release of one a month starting at the end of August. I will keep you updated.

Progress on Stretch Goals

Good afternoon Glorious Backers,
Here's a quick update on where I'm up to with the stretch goals now that the main goal is in your hands.
Like most people here in the UK I'm currently at home on lockdown. Initially, this threw my work on any D101 Games stuff into disarray. I'm looking after both of my children, and my wife was temporarily working from home as well. But things have settled down now, and I'm made a determined effort not to let things slide any further than they have already.
Ok, the one on one adventure, the one page Sunday Dungeons, Monsters are People, the pre-generated characters that's all on me to do the writing. The art is already done. I'm anticipating having this done and in your hands by June at the lastest.
I have the stretch goal adventures, Fires from Below, The Curse of the Emerald Swan and Ruinous Jungle as working drafts. I need to go through and provide my editorial feedback, which I'll be doing over the next week, to the authors who will then submit amended drafts and then they will need proofing and art commissioning. I'm anticipating all that exciting work, and it is exciting because all the adventures are as fun as I hoped they would have been from the pitches, will probably take us up to May/June. Depending on how quickly art commissioning goes, I anticipate seeing the adventures coming out every month, starting in June.
You hear from me now regularly on the 1st of the month and I'll keep you updated as things progress.

Update on the Stretch Goals

Good Evening Glorious Backers and Curious Onlookers,
Well, I'm back home after a lovely family holiday, and everything is a bit crazy here in the UK with the Covid19 virus.
Obviously I'm still working on the stretch goals, but the end of last week the UK Government closed our schools so I've got both my children at home for the foreseeable future. This will impact my working hours since I'm at home while my wife works at the local hospital. So at the moment, I can't give firm estimates on when the stretch goals are going to be delivered. Give me a week of adjusting to life with the children at home and I'll be in a position to do a proper update with robust delivery dates.
The good news is that I have drafts of various levels of completeness of the adventures, as well as the bits that I'm responsible. It's all a matter of identifying what needs finishing off and working with authors and artists to make it so.
Fuller update, this time next week.

Printed copies sent out direct

Good Morning Glorious Backers,
If you were due a printed copy* of Tales from the Sorcerer Under the Mountain and/or The Sorcerer Under the Mountain from me, you'll be pleased to know it was sent out either yesterday or today.
Any problems get in touch with me via Kickstarter messenger system. Please be aware that I'm on holiday and away from D101 HQ next week so I may not respond until I return due to patchy internet access.
When I get back I will let you know how the stretch goals are coming on.
In the meantime...

Print on Demand coupons sent out for both OSR & 5th Ed

Good Morning Glorious Backers and Curious Onlookers,
In short: POD versions of the Sorcerer Under the Mountain (5th Ed adventure) and Tales from the Sorcerer Under the Mountain (OSR rulebook) have been issued. Backers who are getting them sent directly from me, I've ordered copies and will send as soon as I receive them from the printers.
At length:
I finally received a successful print proof of the 5th Edition Adventure yesterday. The previous one had been a weird mash-up with a book on Spanish Folk music complete with pages of sheet music! The OSR rulebook had come in successfully the week before, but I held off releasing it to avoid widespread confusion amongst people who were expecting the 5th Ed adventure as well.
So last night I issued the coupons to the at cost Print on Demand versions of The Sorcerer Under the Mountain (5th Ed adventure) and Tales from the Sorcerer Under the Mountain (OSR rulebook), to those backers who are due them. If you've not received yours, 1 check your spam filter 2. Check that your Backer level is actually due a POD coupon. 3 Contact me via Kickstarter messenger.
If you are due a printed copy of either book (or both if you are a Sorcerer or Head Sheidbearer) I've ordered the books and will start sending them out when I receive them from the printer. This should be late next week or early the week after.
So that should be the main goal out of the way. There has been significant progress on the stretch goals which I'll share with you in the next update, once the printed books have been sent out :)
